Are you someone who likes to get things done, while keeping everyone informed and aligned? We're looking for a Project Manager (PM) to deliver changes on time and within budget, while keeping leadership and teams up to date on progress throughout the project. As the PM, you'll work with development and delivery teams to ensure strategic and tactical changes are delivered, without compromising quality.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing competing priorities, and ensuring alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Salary Range
$75k - $200k, depending on education & experience
Travel
Possible travel within the USA, depending on the client

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end projects across multiple IT initiatives (software, infrastructure, cloud, etc.).

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • For Agile projects, facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Identify and resolve issues and risks before they become front-page news.

  • Ensure compliance with governance, change control, and internal policies.

  • Support vendor management, RFPs, contracts, and third-party deliverables.

  • Continuously improve processes, tools, and templates — because "we've always done it this way" isn’t a strategy.

Requirements for a junior level role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management in an Information Technology department, or equivalent.
  • Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written, and interpersonal.
  • Proven ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in agile, hybrid, and waterfall project environments.
  • Proven ability to manage medium-to-large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and moving parts.
  • Proficiency with project tools such as MS Project, Jira, Trello, Smartsheet, etc.
Preferred:
  • PMP certification by PMI, PRINCE2 by Axelos, or other project management certifications.
  • Agile certification (CSM by Scrum Alliance, PSM by Scrum.org, SAFe by Scaled Agile, etc.).
  • CCMP certification by ACMP.

Additional requirements for a senior level role:

  • PMP certification by PMI, PRINCE2 by Axelos, or other project management certifications.
  • Agile certification (CSM by Scrum Alliance, PSM by Scrum.org, SAFe by Scaled Agile, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience in project management.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • Experience with cloud migrations, cybersecurity initiatives, ERP/CRM implementations, or digital transformation programs.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid — you speak them all).
  • Solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
Preferred:
  • CCMP certification by ACMP.
